ERASMUS+ is a European Union program that supports activities in the fields of education, training, youth and sport. The program provides an opportunity for students, college educators and staff to spend time abroad to improve their knowledge, skills and experience.
ERASMUS+ is the completion of part of the study in the states of the European Union, while the period of study abroad must be fully recognized by the home university and replaced by a comparable period of study at the home university. Upon completion of the study abroad, the host university must issue the student with a written proof of completion of the agreed study together with a statement of the achieved study results.
All full-time students at TUKE, who will have completed a min. first year of bachelor study, can apply for an internship within the ERASMUS+ .
In the area of funding, the European Union provides partial financial support to students for mobility. EU financial support does not cover all student costs and the student can cover mobility costs such as travel, accommodation, food, local transport, insurance and other study mobility costs.
